Luis Alejandro Hernández Renteria from Mexico, student at the Master´s Programme Serious Games at the University of Skövde, has received the Global Swede Award.

- The Global Swede Award is a great life achievement for me! It's an acknowledgement and reward to the decisions that I have made looking for new challenges, learning and new perspectives, Luis says.

The nomination emphasizes that Luis is a very conscious and inspiring student. He aims to contribute to the learning process of students with ADHD by helping them to increase their motivation and engagement in their academic life using game elements in their e-learning interactions.

At a ceremony in Stockholm, Luis and 21 other international students from different universities received diplomas from Ann Linde, the Swedish Minister for EU Affairs and Trade.

Global Swede is a part of the government's and the Swedish Institute's long-term relationship building with international students in Sweden.
