Science without Borders

The University of Skövde is delighted to have been selected to participate in the Science without Borders scholarship programme. Launched in 2011, the Science without Borders scheme provides Brazilian students with government scholarships to study abroad.

The University of Skövde is a modern and innovative university that offers first-class programmes and competitive research, which attract research scientists and students from all over the world. It is one of the most specialised universities in Sweden. We have decided to concentrate our efforts and resources on three research areas. In doing so, we can provide specialised, competitive research and highly skilled researchers to our partners within academic, industry, and society in general. The research is conducted at our five research specialisations: InformaticsSystems Biology; Virtual Engineering; Health and Learning; and Enterprises for the Future.

Our international students enjoy studying and living on and around a safe and beautiful campus, which is located close to the centre of the town of Skövde.

The University of Skövde is also very pleased to have been selected to welcome post-doc researchers from Brazil with scholarships co-funded by Saab and Science without Borders.
