INTERREG KASK has sponsored the Scandinavian Game Developers Project (www.scangame.dk), a 3 year project starting in 2011.
Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency finances a 3-year project on serious games for rescue services training by 2,4 MSEK, starting in January 2009.
INTERREG III financed the Serious Games Business Cluster and Network project, 1 MSEK in 2007 and 2008.
Länsförsäkringar Forskning och Framtid financed the Sp&Ts project, 1 MSEK in 2007 and 2008.
The development of the InGaMe Lab facilities have been financially supported by Tillväxt Skaraborg, Skövde Kommun and the University of Skövde. They have all together invested 5,7 million SEK. The projected started in the summer of 2004 and the research group was formed during 2006. The aim of the research group is to further develop the facilities and carry out high quality research in cooperation with current as well as new partners.
Volvo Cars, Länsförsäkringar Skaraborg and IKEA have also been important partners when building the facilities. Volvo has contributed with a S80-car and IKEA has decorated the apartment.
