An e-mail account is automatically generated when your account is created. You can read your student email on a university computer, or in the web mail. If you want you can also add your university account to a private device.

You will find the webmail on Log in with your user name only, not the entire email address.

If you want to add your student e-mail to your private device, these are the general settings:

  • Type of account: Exchange
  • Server:
  • Domain: hs.local
  • User name: the same as for your user account
  • Password: the same as for your user account

System maintenance

IT service conducts system maintenance once a month, normally Fridays from 8 am to 12 pm. You may experience system errors in all University IT-systems.
