The University of Skövde is currently preparing itself according to the European Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R). The aim with this certification is to increase the University’s attractiveness as a stakeholder for internationally competitive research.

A gap analysis based on HSR4R is conducted during the autumn term and we would like to receive your input (see contact field). The work is coordinated by an internal working group (HR, AFSI) together with a steering committee (Styrgrupp) and a group of active researchers on different career stages and from all research fields (Referensgrupp).

The gap analysis considers HR policies and regulations basesd on 40 principles divided into four groups:

-        Ethical and professional aspects
-        Recruitment
-        Working conditions and social security
-        Training

We expect to finish the gap analysis and approve the Charter & Code in January 2019. Following this step, the University will introduce an action plan for implementation of the Charter & Code.

More information about HRS4R and the Charter & Code can be found on the EURAXESS website and through SUHF who coordinates the Swedish efforts.
