Postgraduate Studies

University of Skövde offers a wide range of postgraduate studies / international masters programmes taught in English. Academic areas covered are Medicine, Computer Science,  Engineering and Technology,  and Natural Sciences.

Prerequisites

The programmes are either one or two year masters. They are designed and open for application for students with a Bachelor degree or equivalent academic background and a good command of English. The University of Skövde do not consider applications from students without a full Bachelor, that is - the degree certificate must be submitted with the application.

Necessary is also proof of English. Accepted tests are IELTS or TOEFL. Originals from TOEFL must be sent to the addres given at www.universityadmissions.se or directly to the University.

Exceptions

Students from universities that according to International Handbook of Universities/World List of Universities and Other Institutions of Higher Education has English as medium of instruction.

Students with the equivalence of 30 ECTS, with English as medium of instruction, from Nordic countries. Credits in e g nordic languages is not appropriate.

Application and tuition fees

Students from countries within the EU / EEA region and students from universities with which the University of Skövde has a bilateral agreement are welcome to study at the University of Skövde without paying any tuition fees. Students originating from countries outside EU/EEA region are liable to pay tuition fees. The University of Skövde offers scholarships to students liable to pay tuition, which will cover 50% of the tuition fee for those students who get awarded.
