English requirements for international Masters programmes.
All teaching (including the dissertation) in international master programmes is done in English. A prerequisite for entering an international master programme is English knowledge equivalent to Swedish Upper-Secondary level English course B.
IELTS - International English Language Testing System
overall academic score of at least 6.5
and no less than 5.5 in any other section
TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language

The University of Skövde has TOEFL code number 8502.
- You must either submit proof of passing TOEFL or IELTS.

- Please note that if you fail to provide an IELTS score or a TOEFL score your application will not be evaluated. You cannot submit your IELTS/TOEFL score after the submission deadline.

Exceptions:
Students with a degree not older than five years from universities that according to International Handbook of Universities/World List of Universities and Other Institutions of Higher Education has English as the only medium of instruction.
Students who have passed courses with English as the only medium of instruction equivalent to 30 ECTS from a Nordic university. Credits in e g nordic languages are not appropriate.
