Welcome to your study program in the University of Skövde, Sweden.
The Master program in Bioinformatics will begin with an information meeting and registration in August, 2011 in the Portalen building at the University. More information about this will be posted here soon, so check this page regularly!
You are strongly advised to arrive in Sweden in time to participate at this meeting! Please, note that admission to this program does not guarantee a place for you and if you do not show up in time, your place will be offered to the next applicant in the waiting list.
After this general meeting you will have to officially register at the admissions office, located in building E, 2nd floor. Please, note that you need to have all your original degree certificates at the time of registration! Last date of registration is 5th of September! After that we cannot accept any students to the program.
You are thus recommended to start making your travel plans, apply for Visa at the Swedish embassy in your home country (which can take 2-3 months), book flights and sort out your accommodation in Skövde as soon as possible.
There is a pick-up service available, between 19-21st August and 2nd September if you have an accomodation arranged when you arrive here. A cab will pick you up at the train station in Skövde and take you to your accomodation.
