Have you just arrived in Sweden or have you been here less than three years? Do you have an academic degree from abroad and do you wish to study in Sweden or get a job in the line of your profession? ”Korta vägen” – the Short Way – is an intensive course at the University of Skövde, designed to make it easier for foreign graduates to become a part of the Swedish labour market, to get internships and in the end get a job that corresponds with their education and/or profession.
The programme was also erected to strengthen the competition on the labour market.
A fantastic opportunity!
The course started in 2006 and the aim was to find a way to value the education, knowledge and experience that a lot of people with foreign background arriving in Sweden possess.
It all comes down to giving the students in the programme opportunities to find work in their own fields. It can also be a preparation for university studies that will aid in completing foreign exams according to the standards that the Swedish labour market and the Swedish employers demand.
