How to get a Library card

You need a library card to be able to borrow our books. Get one at the Information desk. Do not forget to bring a photo-id.

Loan period

The normal loan period is 4 weeks. The exeptions are  course books, reference books & journals (not for loan); course literature: fiction, degree theses & CD:s (1 week); books in reservation queue (2 weeks).

Renew your loans

You can renew one or more of  your loans by logging in on Login in our web catalogue. If you are a new user you will have to create a PIN code. That you can do either on the Internet, in our web catalogue or you can recieve one at the Library information desk.

Request a borrowed book

You can make book reservations in our web catalogue. Find the book in the catalogue and then klick on reserve. If you do not have a PIN code you can create one in the catalogue before you make the reservation. When the book is returned to us you will get an email notification.

Course literature

You cannot borrow course books. We have two copies of each course book as reference literature only. You will find them in the Course book collection, which is situated next to the Information desk area in the library. The books are organized in alphabetical order (first priority by author, second priority by title). Search for the books in the Library catalogue.
Please note that you cannot borrow course books for use in examinations.
