Johan Almer is the new University Director

The title University Director is new at the University of Skövde and the direction hopes that the change will be positive for administration aswell as education. The position is situated in the Principals staff and is subordinate directly to the principal.

The University Directors mission is a strategic leadership focusing on organizational development in an administrative aswell as educational perspective. Focus lies on strategic decisions on organization, leadership and develoment of the administrative part of the universitys activities.

This change convey that the new head of department at the School of Communication and Information is Mattias Strand, earlier vice head of department. New vice head of department will be Beatrice Alenjung. Beatrice has a background within cognitive sciences at the University of Skövde and defended her thesis in 2008.
