The book is structured in three parts, namely economics, finance, trade and environment. Part one focuses on the theory of economic dynamics and the recent economic growth experience of Mexico; part two discusses the behaviour of financial markets and variables of both Mexico and Sweden. It also analyzes Mexico´s strive for price and exchange rate stability. Finally, part three studies the international trade relations between Sweden and Mexico and some politics of environmental issues in the latter country. Thus, the volume offers in-depth analyses of comparative advantages, challenges and potential mutual benefits facing both Sweden and Mexico. Undoubtedly, it contributes to a better and deeper understanding of two countries with different economic development experiences, yet with a host of lessons to be learned from each other.
