He will give presentations on Syntactic Pattern Recognition for Landmine Detection and on Information-based Sensor Management. Infofusion has received a visiting professor travel grant of SEK 7000 from The Wenner-Gren Foundations (Wenner-Gren Stiftelserna) for the visit of Prof. Hintz. | 2008-07-08 | Maria Riveiro was awarded the "Best Student Paper Award" at the Fusion 2008 conference.More then360papers were sent to the conference and 274 were accepted (roughly 75%). Approximately 100 of these papers were Student Papers, i.e., lead author was a PhD student. 3 papers were nominated and Maria got the award and a price check of €500. |
