In case of fire

 

If a fire starts:

  1. WARN the surroundings that a fire or other emergency incident occured
  2. SAVE everybody who is in immediate danger and vacate the place
  3. ALARM the resque service, ambulance and police via SOS at phone number 112
  4. EXTINGUISH if you think you can handle it without taking any unnecessarily risks
  5. STOP the fire by closing doors, windows and so on
     

SOS (at phone number 112) want you to answer the following questions:

  • What have happened?
  • Where is the accident?
  • Which phone number are you calling from?
  • Who is calling (name)?

    Good advice

    If the room is filled up with smoke - creep under the smoke, where the air is fresher and you are able to see better.
    Close the doors when you have came out, to reduce the spreading of smoke and fire.
    Fire in a saucepan - move the saucepan from the hot plate and smoth the fire with a lid.
    Never leave a candle without control.
