The Individual course in Information Fusion is primarily for PhD students in the Information Fusion research program
. Master students can unfortunately not participate.
The purpose of this course is mainly to support a continual interaction between the PhD students, and encourage them to participate in, e.g., article reviews, guest lectures, and studies of information fusion research which they wouldn't have undertaken otherwise.
The students should be able to enter the course at any time (new students might join the research program over time), and they typically leave when they are close to graduation. The efforts of the students are accumulated into course credits. As a consequence, students may choose which parts of the activities to participate in.
