Crisis

University of Skövde has a special organization that is activated in case of a crisis. If you know that there is an accident, a death or other serious event related to the University, you should immediately notify the school staff.

First and foremost contact your department head or proprefekt, in alternative any of the other persons in the university's crisis team.

In the event of a crisis you should write down the following information:

  • What happened
  • Who did it happen to
  • Where did it happen
  • When did it happen
  • If you did not witness the event yourself: Who gave you the information, their phone number.

Then contact your head of departement or proprefect and inform him/her of the situation and state your name and phonenumber.

If a crisis ...

... DO

- record what has happened
- a note of whom who have been injured or lost their lives
- a note of when you found out what happened and the name and telephone number of the person who gave you information about the event.

... DO

- contact your department head or proprefekt
- talk about what happened
- mention your name and telephone number
 
For the University's  emergency work to be properly and effectively it is important that you act quickly!
