Mandatory sign up for written examinations
Beginning spring term 2012 it is mandatory to sign up for written examinations. Students who have failed to sign up for written examination will not be allowed to participate in the examination.

Ongoing change
Efforts to implement this change have been ongoing throughout the fall semester 2011. A student that had not signed up for an examination was offered a seat after 45 minutes of the start of the examination and were at the same time informed about the changes occuring for spring term 2012
Examination sign up
Students must sign up for examinations at the latest seven (7) days before the examination in Studentportalen. If sign up through Studentportalen is not possible they should contact the Student Affairs Office – front desk, at least three (3) workdays before the examination. Sign up for examination will then be offered based on availability in examination venue.
Managing restrictions/registration
Only students registered for a course has the right to participate in examinations but the students cannot sign up for the examination if they are not registered. Course registration is made online through Studentportalen. If you have students admitted to your course with restrictions due to unfulfilled prerequisites; you as course coordinator/responsible should make sure these are lifted in due time before the examination so that your students may register and sign up for the examination.
If students arrive to the examination venue on the day of the examination and have not signed up for the examination they may not write the examination and will be asked to leave the examination venue.
