Visit from Ukraine
Recently a delegation from Ukraine came to visit the University of Skövde. There were representatives from Zaporizhzhya National University, Classic Private University in Zaporizhzhya and Zaporizhzhya's Teachers Training College.
It was the teacher department of the School of Humanities and Informatics who had invited the delegation as they have started an interesting collaboration with the schools in Ukraine.
Staff from the University's teacher education has previously been to Ukraine, where they visited the University in Ukraine on two occasions and established contacts. The plan is that students in teacher training will go to Zaporizhzhya during the fall to do their thesis there and locate the work-based (placement) education at the Teacher's Training College.
