Please prepare yourself well for the home examination, see some recommendations here.

Form of written examination

This part of the course assessment is in form of a written examination at home during a scheduled time. This means that you will have all your course material available when writing the examination and that the time slot for writing the examnation is longer than superintended exams at school. The questions will be extensive, and will require investigative and reflective answers. It will not be possible to "just find the answer" on a certain page in the literature. To be able to pass the examination you need to be well familiar with the course material in advance.

It is optional to write in Swedish or English.

On the day of examination, the examination questions will be made available via the website of the course some minutes before the start of the examination. You shall have access to the questions when the exam begins at 9:00. If you have any problems with the distribution, please contact the course coordinator immediately at phone 070-5594895. The answers of the questions should be written with a word processor. The answers should be sent by e-mail to the course coordinator (joeri.van.laere@his.se) as well as to Urkund to the following e-mail address: joeri.van.laere.his@analys.urkund.sei at the latest at 24 May 2011 at 16:00.

Your answers will be checked by Urkund. You can read more about Urkund here: www.urkund.com.

Notice:

  • If you send your answers after 16:00 at the day of exam you will be graded fail at the examination.
  • You have to write your own unique answers. It is not allowed to use the same or a similar answer as another student. If two or more students send the same or similar answers, this will be considered as cheating and will be dealt with in due course.
  • Use the Harvard reference system. Make proper references to all information sources that you use.
