Through the MLP Network, we provide guidance and access to active, working music professionals to help answer your questions concerning your school assignments as well as hearing "real life" stories of how the music branch is put together.
In the courses Praktisk musikkunskap 1 and 2 (year 1) we begin the process with questions such as "Why is networking important?" "Who are the successful people working in our branch?" "How do you find them?"
MLP helps you start developing relationships with professionals outside our school. Outside Skara. Or even outside Sweden.
After the process of research and discovery is begun in Praktisk musikkunskap 1 and 2, professionals will be made available in the Projekt och Examens Arbete courses (year 2). By e-mail, phone, and in class meetings. In the past, we have had feedback and guidance from producers, writers, managers, and publishers who have worked with Kleerup, Robyn, Christian Walz, Thåström, Melodifestivalen, The Rasmus, Alice Cooper, Tom Waits, and many more.
