Cruaud presents her research on the design and use of an app for French-as-a-foreign-language learning. She will discuss the concept of gamification within the classroom context, and present findings on the students' experience of bringing play into school.

Caroline Cruaud is an associate professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway, in the unit for digitalization and education (eDU). Her research interests cover among other topics playfulness, foreign language learning and the process of designing tools for learning.
