Per Anders Östblad received the University of Skövde diversity scholarship

Per Anders Östblad received the 2012 diversity Scholarship at the University of Skövde. He received the award for his essay that studies how computer games can be used as aids for the visually impaired.

Per Anders Östblad, former student at the Computer Games Development program Graphics and Sound, received the University of Skövde's Diversity Scholarship for the year 2012. The scholarship is in the amount of 5000 SEK.

As a former student in the master's program Serious Games, Per Anders Östblad, is the first student in the field of computer games that receives the diversity scholarship. In his master's thesis, Per-Anders Östblad investigates the possibility of using computer games to develop a tool that can help the visually impaired.

After having received his award from vice Chancellor Sigbritt Karlsson, Per Anders gave a lecture about his work at the University of Skövde.

The University of Skövde Diversity Scholarship is awarded to students at the University of Skövde, who, in their undergraduate or graduate thesis, has excelled on the theme of diversity.
