Mainly distance education throughout the spring semester 2021
Distance education if possible, campus education if needed. This will continue be the University of Skövde's overall strategy throughout the whole spring semester 2021. The strategy for the next semester and it will also apply if the Covid-19-the situation would improve in the spring. Since the beginning of the autumn semester, the University of Skövde has already had lower level of teaching on campus due to the pandemic. The University is open, but the University Library has temporarily more limited opening hours.
The University follows recommendations from the government, the Public Health Agency of Swedish and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. As of 14 December, stricter national regulations and general advice come into force about everyone's responsibility to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The government's ban on gatherings and public events applies to more than eight people. Teaching and exams at Universities do not count as general gatherings.
