      Admission Requirements

      The prerequisites for this course are a Bachelor degree of at least 180 higher education credits (equivalent to 180 ECTS) within the fields of integrated product development, production engineering, automation engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology or similar. A further requirement is proof of skills in English equivalent of studies at upper secondary level in Sweden, known as English course 6 / English course B. This is normally demonstrated by means of an internationally recognized test, e.g. IELTS, TOEFL or the equivalent.

      The courses are conducted in English.
      Sustainable development and innovation are and will be key concepts for industrial firms. This course will introduce you to the existing links between them.

      This course offers the participants an understanding of what is, the benefits and challenges of sustainable development and engineering in industrial firms. It also addresses the relationship between innovation and sustainability and its link to the different methods and tools learnt during the master program within the area of virtual product realization. The theoretical background combined with guest lectures, as well as, group and individual assignments and discussions provides the course with practical moments to get a deeper understanding of the concepts and at the same time increase the teamwork, leadership and presentation skills of the students.
