      Admission Requirements

      A Bachelor’s degree equivalent to a Swedish kandidatexamen of 180 credits, within the main fields of integrated product development, production engineering, automation engineering, mechanical engineering or information technology (or the equivalent). A further requirement is proof of skills in English equivalent of studies at upper secondary level in Sweden, known as the Swedish course English 6. This is normally demonstrated by means of an internationally recognized language test, e.g. IELTS or TOEFL.

      Sustainable development and innovation are and will be key concepts for industrial firms. This course will introduce you to the existing links between them.

      This course offers the participants an understanding of what is, the benefits and challenges of sustainable development and engineering in industrial firms. It also addresses the relationship between innovation and sustainability and its link to the different methods and tools learnt during the master program within the area of virtual product realization. The theoretical background combined with guest lectures, as well as, group and individual assignments and discussions provides the course with practical moments to get a deeper understanding of the concepts and at the same time increase the teamwork, leadership and presentation skills of the students.
