Due to change of system it will not be possible to search books in LibSearch, borrow, renew or make reservations for books 29-31 October.
At the turn of the month October-November the University Library will introduce a new system for managing printed books, such as checkouts, reservations, metadata, acquisitions and interlibrary loans.
The new system, Koha, is a widely used open source system characterized by an active community concerned with development.
After the change of system is implemented books are searched and borrowed in the same way as before, though a change of pincode is required in order to login and check your loans and make reservations.
At the same time we introduce a number of automatic renewals, meaning that if you have borrowed a book and no other user has made a reservation for the book it will automatically be renewed when the loan period has expired.
