      Published 9 January 2023

The library and the Study Support Centre offer guidance and instruction in connection with information searches, academic writing, referencing and evaluating sources.

      Course literature

The University Library normally has two copies of each course book, available for reading in the library. Course literature cannot be lent home.

      Databases and articles

Scientific articles, conference papers and books can be found by searching various databases. The library’s databases are detailed in the database list. On the library website you can also find tips and strategies for searching, information about referencing and other useful information.

      Borrowing books from the library

You will need to register as a borrower in order to borrow books or request interlibrary loans and copies of articles. Students should apply for their library account in Studentportalen. Your access card can be registered as a library card.

      Library study environment

The library has various types of study environment such as seating areas, group study rooms, computer workstations and quiet rooms for reading.

      Study Support Centre

The Study Support Centre can help you to develop your academic writing, both in Swedish and English. Find out more about The Study Support Centre.

      Talking books, recorded literature

Students with some form of reading disability, such as dyslexia or a visual impairment, can obtain their course literature as talking books or in some other adapted format. Find out more about recorded literature.
