The course contains the basics of human physiology with a focus on organ systems and its regulation. The macro- and microanatomy of the body is covered to such an extent as is considered necessary for the understanding of the physiological processes. Furthermore, basic metabolism is also studied. Laborations within physiology include simpler blood tests and physiological tests with an emphasis on metabolic functions. Furthermore, how life processes are controlled at the organ level and whole-body level is also included in the course.
