Three Course Modules
The course is divided into three modules, providing an overview of information security from an organisational perspective. The modules focus on key activities essential for understanding, planning, and monitoring protective measures for organisational information systems and assets. The three modules are:
- Information Security Threats and Incidents
- Risks and Security Controls
- Evaluation and Governance
Case Studies and Practical Exercises
The course includes practical exercises featuring case studies of security incidents from the industry. Through these activities, you will become familiar with the standards used to evaluate and analyse information security.
After completing the course, you will be able to:
- Analyse and critically reflect on the significance of information security from an organisational perspective.
- Explain and provide an in-depth account of key concepts within information security.
- Identify and critically evaluate relevant and valuable information assets.
- Identify and prioritise appropriate security measures against various threats and incidents.
