The entry pass reader is now in place at the library
3/2/2021 During self-service hours 10-12, you need to use your entry pass to enter the university library.
We therefore want to remind all students to have your entry pass with you when you visit the library location.

2/15/2021 The library provides drop-in guidance on search strategies and evaluating sources.
University library - present opening hours
1/21/2021 From January 25, the library will extend opening hours. As a student or staff member at the University of Skövde, you can visit the library at 10-16 on weekdays.
Are you a new student and need a library card?
1/15/2021 To access most of our library resources for example databases or e-books you only need your student credentials.
Reduced opening hours
12/21/2020 Due to stricter restrictions to counter the pandemic, the library's opening hours are reduced

11/25/2020 With the increased restrictions due to Covid-19, the number of people allowed to stay in the library's group room is limited.

11/4/2020 The University Library location will only be open for two hours every weekday during the period 22 December-24 January.

Some e-books cannot be accessed at the start of the course
8/31/2020 Unfortunately, one of the library's e-books suppliers has claimed bankruptcy. This causes the break of the access to some e-books titles that we previously had access to. We are working to find a solution as soon as possible. Show all news
