      The library for distance students

Distance students have access to books, databases, articles and journals, just like campus students. The difference is that you can have books and articles sent to your home address.

      Library account

In order to borrow books and request items, you will need a library account. You can apply for a library account under My profile at Studentportalen (external link)

      Home delivery of books

As a distance student at the University of Skövde, you can borrow books from the University library, with the exception of course literature and reference books, and have them delivered at home free of charge. Through the University library, you can also borrow books using interlibrary loans from other libraries, with the exception of course literature and reference books. You must, however, pay the return postage when returning the books.
