Now students and employees at the University of Skövde have access to Scopus AI, the Scopus AI-based search function where you can explore different topics based on natural language. The answers given are based on the content found in Scopus.
Scopus is a reference and citation database containing scientific articles, conference papers, book chapters, etc. in many different subject areas. Scopus AI can help you get started with discovering a subject area.
Scopus AI – how it works
- Ask questions in natural language, the answers are given as a short summary including references.
- The answers to the questions are based on the publications found in Scopus.
- Explore topics further via extended summaries, concept maps, or through the references provided.
- Via ‘emerging themes’, you can get help identifying upcoming trends within a subject area.
- Scopus AI can be found in the library's database list and in Scopus you find Scopus AI as a separate tab.
Scopus AI can be used both when you want to start exploring a topic, but also when you want to delve deeper. Scopus AI can be seen as a complement to traditional database searching. You still need to search in the traditional way if you want to do a structured search.
