Vernissage: Art We Are Ashamed Of

      Published 14 January 2025

Welcome to the vernissage! Listen to Skövde's Art Director, Thomas Oldrell, as he inaugurates the exhibition about "shame art".

The university’s staff and students showcase their art that they feel ashamed of. Behind every artwork we’re ashamed of, there’s a story to tell.
One person feels shame because she sees her poster through someone else’s eyes. Another has a penis-shaped pipe that she’s not ashamed of—but others are!

Skövde's Art Director, Thomas Oldrell, will share humorous anecdotes about "shame art" and put it into context. It’ll be fun, so don’t miss it!

The vernissage will be in Swedish.

When? Tuesday, January 28, 12:15 PM.
      Where? Library entrance
      Organiser: The University Library
