About the programme
The programme that you are admitted to is a master’s programme developed in cooperation between researchers and practitioners in the cyber security domain, and the programme is tightly tied to our collaboration platform (also called PICS) that brings together researchers and practitioners within security. We hope that the programme will provide you with a challenging experience that allows you to learn and to understand the PICS area and, of course, have an enjoyable time doing that.
The studies are designed to be dialogue based. This means that we will mix lectures, supervision, seminars and group assignments, and we expect you to participate. Our pedagogical approach is that we use dialogue to learn. There will be a number of scheduled sessions where some are mandatory, and some are not. To get the most out of the programme, we expect you to participate actively in all sessions that we provide. Let me also mention that the programme is designed to be a full-time study programme. This means that we designed the programme to require about 40 hours of work per week from the students. The sessions we offer will mostly be live sessions that we do not record. Distance students will connect to the sessions using the tool Zoom and will mix with the campus students.
You will get more information about the time and (digital) place for the first sessions closer to the start of the semester. Should you have any questions regarding the programme, you are very welcome to e-mail me, and I will help you out as best I can.
