      Prerequisite courses for this course are: Passed courses: BI121G-Bioinformatic Analysis with Python 1 G1N and BI119G-Introduction to Bioinformatics G1N.

      The courses are conducted in English.

      This course will deepen and complement your current knowledge of how the programming language Python is used to solve bioinformatic problems. In addition to your previous knowledge and skills in procedural programming, you will here learng the basics of object-oriented programming and how it is implemented in Python. You will also learn how to include already available code (from BioPython or code written in other programming languages) in your Python programs. The course also teaches how to visualize results from bioinformatic analyses by using Python functions, how you can write more efficient code, and how to write documentation of your programs.
