This course will take you on an exciting journey of the microbial world. You will acquire basic knowledge within the field of microbiology and initially study the function, growth, metabolism and metabolic regulation of microorganisms. In the course other important areas are included such as microbial diagnostics, phylogenetics, taxonomy, evolution and systematics. You will also have a thorough training in microbial laboratory work.
