Admission Requirements
Prerequisite courses for this course are: Passed courses: PR311G-Production and Logistics Simulation I G1F and [PR316G-Efficient Workflows G1F or PR028G-Productionsystem G1N] and [IT154G-Procedural Programming for Engineers G1N or IT120G-Programming Fundamentals with C++ G1N] and ST309G-Statistics for Engineers II - basic course G1F (or the equivalent).

The courses are conducted in English.
The module consists of the following moments: basic production system analysis, discrete-event simulation model building and programming, the lifecycle of industrial
simulation projects, simulation models development, practical data collection and analysis as well as basic design of experiments for simulation.
The laboratory work includes exercises on the use and programming of discrete-event simulation as well as exercises on statistical tools for input and output data analyses. Students will be partly involved in an industrial-based simulation project or case study.
