In this course you will learn how computers and applications can communicate and collaborate via local networks and the Internet. During the course you will develop an understanding of the fundamentals of Distributed Systems and the main challenges inherent in constructing and using this type of system. You will learn basic theory and also gain practical experience of Distributed Systems programming using several established technologies for implementing networked applications.
