Scholarships for students required to pay tuition fees

The University of Skövde administrates the University of Skövde Master's Scholarships, funded by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR). These scholarships are available to master's applicants who are required to pay tuition fees and who are applying for master's studies at the University of Skövde. The scholarships are partial tuition fee waivers (50% of the tuition fee).
Available to citizens of all non-EU/EEA countries.

The Swedish Institute (SI) offers a range of scholarships for master's students coming to study in Sweden. The SI Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) cover both living costs and tuition fees. Available to citizens of 32 countries.

The Swedish Institute scholarship Pioneering Women in STEM is an academic scholarship provided for full-time, one- or two-year, master’s studies in designated programmes in Sweden.
Eligibility is limited to female citizens from 10 countries: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam.
Application for the scholarship Pioneering Women in STEM is done via Swedish universities. The eligible master's programmes at the University of Skövde are listed below:

- Cognitive Neuroscience: Mind and Brain, 60 credits, code HS-41274

If you are eligible for GI Bill benefits through the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), these benefits may cover your tuition fees and living expenses. Currently, all bachelor’s programmes taught in English at the University of Skövde as well as the master’s in Biomarkers in Molecular Medicine and Cognitive Neuroscience: Mind and Brain are approved by the VA.
