      Admission Requirements

      General entry requirements.
      Further requirements: Science studies 2, Mathematics 3b or Mathematics 3c or Mathematics C, English 6 (or the equivalent). The level of English proficiency is normally shown by an internationally recognized test, e.g. IELTS or TOEFL.

      Guaranteed admission.

      The courses are conducted in English.

      This course provides you with basic knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point for report writing, data management and preparation of presentations. The course also provides an introduction to UNIX/Linux, including how to use basic commands in a command prompt, manage files, define system variables, and write simpler scripts. The theory is given in the form of lectures and used to solve practical exercises that prepare you for the examination in the course. No prior knowledge of UNIX/Linux is required.
