      Admission Requirements

      The prerequisite for this course is a Bachelor degree in Biology and/or Medicine (containing at least 180 Higher education credits). In addition there is a requirement of 20 Higher education credits in bioscience at advanced level (or equivalent). A further requirement is proof of skills in English equivalent of studies at upper secondary level in Sweden, known as English course 6. This is normally demonstrated by means of an internationally recognized test, e.g. IELTS or TOEFL or the equivalent.

      Language

      The courses are conducted in English.
      Plan, implement and present a bioscientific research project.

      In this course, acquired knowledge is applied on a scientific problem in molecular biology or a related subject. The course also gives the students opportunity to work practically and individually with research methods in molecular biology in a research project at the university, in the public sector or in the industry. The work is concluded in a scientific report that is presented.
