What does Player Experience mean?
Player Experience (PX) is about understanding the player's experiences. You will study how the player interacts with the game, how various design decisions affect the experience, and how to test, analyse, and improve games from the player's perspective.
In the programme, you will learn to use methods and techniques from user experience (UX) in game development to create engaging game play experiences.
Career opportunities
The programme takes you one step closer to a career in the games industry. It provides you with in-depth knowledge while also giving you a broad understanding of game development. After graduation, you could work as a UX designer, game analyst, developer, or researcher.
High degree of flexibility
The third semester offers great flexibility to deepen or broaden your profile. You can choose to go on exchange to one of our partner universities around the world, take courses from the Serious Games specialisation, or participate in a game project focusing on entrepreneurship within game development.
