      Admission Requirements

      The course has the following entry requirements: passed KE118G Laboratory basic course G1N (or the equivalent). Since the level of progression of the course is G2F, the prerequisites are passed courses of at least 60 credits in biomedicine, bioscience or chemistry, where the course above is included.

      Guaranteed admission.

      Language

      The courses are conducted in English.

      The course covers how the nervous system is organized and how it at molecular level affects physiological conditions and behaviors, as well as how neurobiological research studies are conducted, mainly with regard to methodological aspects and relevant analysis techniques. Exercise physiology is also covered in the course, from a whole-body perspective with a focus on energy metabolism and physical activity linked to muscle physiology and how physical activity and health are linked to nutrition. The course also includes how to plan, implement and analyze results from relevant experiments in the field. Ethical aspects in neurobiology and exercise physiology are also covered during the course.
