      About the programme

Today, being a manager largely involves the ability to practise leadership that creates and facilitates change. This programme provides you with the tools you need to understand the challenges of leadership, and prepares you to act as a development-oriented leader.

There will be a high demand for people with good leadership and organisational development skills in all types of organisations.

      The Focus of Your Studies

The programme has a unique focus on Scandinavian leadership. This means a short distance between leaders and employees, as well as involving employees in the decision-making process and giving them the scope to use their own initiative.

You will study how to lead and manage modern operations, with a focus on how leaders can deal with improvement and development issues.

You will get a broad foundation within the fields of leadership and organisational development, alongside cutting-edge research. You will have excellent opportunities to specialise in your specific interests within the framework of existing courses.

The programme offers a combination of current research and practical elements, in which we link research to practice and vice versa.

You will complete the programme with a degree project worth 15 credits.

      Career Opportunities

The demand for Business Managers with a master's degree will increase in the future, mainly due to growing skills requirements from the labour market. There is a great need for people with specialist training in change management and organisational development.
