ShiftLabs supports small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in adopting new digital technologies. The initiative aims to strengthen Swedish manufacturing by pooling resources and expertise within regional technology centres to enhance and expand services for the manufacturing industry.
The project offers participating industrial companies shorter and more extensive measures for digital transformation. ShiftLabs is organised into four regional hubs, each comprising a leading academic institution in production research and a technology centre that can support the industry in its digital transformation.
The project also includes two large-scale service providers: EIT Manufacturing and the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE).
The regional hubs act as contact points for small and medium-sized enterprises, serving as a "one-stop shop" where companies can access and connect with all the opportunities offered by the project consortium.
