The quality system is described in the Quality Policy for the University of Skövde (PDF). The cohesive quality assurance system is broken down and implemented in the different parts of the operation as specific activites.
Improvement cycles and a culture of quality
Improvement cycles are central components of the quality system. The University works according to a model of planning, implementation, follow-up, and development within all operations. Read more about the improvement cycles.
Through the work in improvement cycles in all levels of the operations, a culture of quality is stimulated across the University. Staff, students and doctoral students are expected to – based on their respective roles – actively and systematically contribute to quality in the operations. This approach aims to create trust-based quality assurance procedures. Participation, collaboration, systematicity and trust form the foundation of the University’s quality culture.
