INGENIUM – we make it possible
Welcome to the INGENIUM European University. This is the place where we at the University of Skövde, together with nine other universities in Europe, are building a common framework for the higher education of the future. You could call it a super campus. It is being built for you as a student, employee and citizen.
Many joint activities are already offered within INGENIUM today, and in just a couple of years we will be offering joint training and activities at various levels. This will be noticeable, for example, by making it easier for our students and employees to study and work within the alliance. We also strive to become an international benchmark for sustainable development, innovation, critical thinking and high-quality research. That's what we call development!
Super campus with nearly 172,000 students
The establishing of a super campus has begun and includes nearly 172,000 students and 12,380 employees. All the higher education institutions being part of INGENIUM have similar conditions in terms of geographical location and size, and as institutions for higher education we struggling with the same challenges.
