CoARA
Central to CoARA is the recognition of different types of research contributions, the prioritisation of qualitative assessment in the evaluation of research, and the avoidance of inappropriate metrics and rankings of research organisations.
DORA
DORA also entails commitments not to use journal- and citation-based metrics at the expense of more qualitative assessments of individuals’ contributions to science.
The University aims, over the long term, to review and adapt its governing documents and activities in accordance with the principles and recommendations of CoARA and DORA.
