The course has the following entry requirements: passed IT781A Game Development - Research & Development A1F and passed IT797A Experimental Game Evaluation A1F. The course has the following prerequisites: 60 credits at advanced level including the courses IT781A and IT742A.

The content of the thesis is focusing on game development. The thesis project is a natural completion of the study programme and provides opportunity to apply theoretical and practical knowledge from courses taken during previous studies. The thesis project may be carried out in cooperation with a company or an organisation external to the university. A complete master degree project is presented and defended as a part of the process.
