The printed thesis must be available at the University's library at least three semester weeks before the public defence or licentiate seminar.
Delivery of duty copies according to the Act (1993: 1392) on duty copies of documents is handled by the printing company. The university library does not belong to the compulsory copy libraries.
The electronic version of the thesis must be published in the University's publication database DiVA (Digitala Vetenskapliga Arkivet) no later than three semester weeks before the public defence or licentiate seminar.
For the electronic version of a compilation thesis, only the summarising chapter (kappa) is published in its entirety and for the thesis papers, the bibliographic information is registered. If possible, thesis papers are linked to full text by the publisher or parallel publication is used where possible.
The author takes care of this (including checking agreements for the right to publish partial works).
