The university may also not subject a doctoral student to reprisals on the grounds that the student has reported or prosecuted an act – or participated in an investigation – relating to discrimination, harassment or violations. The prohibition against reprisals is made clear in the Discrimination Act.

Review of grades in courses given by the University of Skövde
If you think an exam or other examination is not correctly graded, you may have the decision reconsidered or corrected, depending on what is wrong. This should be done as soon as possible after the grade is published.
Fill in the form Begäran om omprövning (pdf, only in Swedish).
The form is handed in (or sent) to Studentservice, together with a written statement of which questions are wanted to be re-examined and a justification as to why, as well as a copy of the exam or corresponding examination part.
Discrimination, harassment or abusive treatment
If you are exposed or observe someone else being exposed, you should report this to your Head of Department (or Head of School), who handles the case according to the handling plan. It is also possible to contact an HR specialist or the Director of PhD studies if you prefer this.
If so, they will pass your case on to the responsible manager. Should you prefer to make a formal report of the case, this must be done in writing and submitted to the Registrar. An HR specialist will provide support in the process and, if necessary, a colleague can be appointed as an extra support person. The university's procedure for dealing with discrimination, harassment and violations (pdf, only in Swedish) gives you more information about how the process works.
Matters without established routines
If there is no established routine for handling the question or complaint, the basic rule is always to raise the issue with the person affected by the complaint.
In cases where it is not possible to resolve directly with the person affected by the complaint, the doctoral student may contact the Director of PhD studies, the PhD student council or the student union for support.
